There is a techonology for syncing called qRFC - Queue remote function call - allows for exchange of data between application components it's an extension of tRFC (Transactional remote function call)

qRFCs can be used to sync the EWM with non-SAP systems

idoc - used to exchange information between systems

3 processes - Inbound, Outbound, Internal

- Does SAP have algorithms for optimizing waves? Or if not, can you connect with external systems? -

Questions: - Are HUs also Products in themselves? - In the S/4 HANA connection sync with EWM, are there are a lot of issues that pop up normally? - - what's the sync schedule of the qRFCs? Real Time? Daily? Hourly? -
