You can desire someone deeply and still decide they're not aligned. Chemistry is powerful. But character decides longevity. Attachment whispers, "don't lose them." Discernment asks, "Is this sustainable?" Growth is choosing the second voice even when the first one is louder.
the reason all the Narratives are about 16-24 year olds is because that's about as old as you can make an "Everyman" protagonist. People get...specific, as they age. You can't tell a story that resonates with all 40-year-olds the way you can with 16-year-olds because the older you get the more 'specifically you' your lived experience gets.
