Narrowing down the exhibition theme…
Explore time in photos
- How do you show time, as a concept or the passage of time, or as the fourth dimension?
- Or even, different ways time is perceived even in the modern world
- Coming from that video about how pre-clock society thought of time based on landmarks that could be variable, rather than a fixed unit of a thing.
- They used phenomena that were constant and repeating, and visible to everyone. Like the sun, the moon, and certain natural landmarks like the presence of salmon, the flowering of a certain tree, etc.
Calle/Kalye
- Inspiration from Invisible Cities. BUT it has to be sellable art. I don’t want it to turn into street photography. At least if it’s going to be exhibited and sold. It also can’t just be architectural photography.
- If this is going to sell as an artwork, I need to make it more ethereal, more universal.
- Moments / Favorite places (as originally planned), but mixed with something else.
- Say if I take a photo of the docks, or a cafe in the morning, how do I make it unique?
- Do I shoot Filipino things in Barcelona?
- Do I shoot someone in a barong with a vogue-like model-like pose around Bar
